Terms
Last updated: 27 July 2026
1. About these terms
These terms tell you the rules for using our website, ardenstrata.co.uk. Please read them carefully. By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.
2. Who we are and how to contact us
ardenstrata.co.uk is operated by Arden Strata Ltd ("Arden Strata", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16983578, with its registered office at 1 Portal Business Park, Eaton Lane, Tarporley, Cheshire, CW6 9DL.
To contact us, email tenders@ardenstrata.co.uk or write to us at the address above.
3. We may make changes to these terms
We may amend these terms at any time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand those that apply at that time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
4. We may make changes to our site, or suspend it
We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our clients' needs and our business priorities.
Our site is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that it, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons, and we will try to give you reasonable notice of any planned suspension.
5. Our site is aimed at business users
Our site is directed at developers, main contractors, architects, quantity surveyors and other construction professionals, and at private clients commissioning building works. It is not intended for consumers acting outside the course of a business, and we do not warrant that any content on it is appropriate for use outside the United Kingdom.
6. Intellectual property rights
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site and in the material published on it, including text, photographs, project case studies, logos, marks and design elements. Those works are protected by copyright and trade mark laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
You may print off one copy, and download extracts, of any page from our site for your own internal business use, and you may draw the attention of colleagues within your organisation to content posted on our site.
You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs or graphics separately from any accompanying text. Our status as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged. You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence from us.
7. Do not rely on information on this site
The content on our site is provided for general information only. It is not advice on which you should rely, and it is not an offer to contract.
Project case studies describe works completed on specific schemes under specific conditions. They are illustrative, and they are not a representation that the same scope, method, programme or price will apply to your project.
Nothing on our site constitutes a quotation. Any price, programme or scope of works is only binding once issued in writing by Arden Strata and accepted in accordance with clause 15.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the content on our site up to date, but we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content is accurate, complete or current.
8. Sending us drawings, documents and other content
You may be able to upload drawings, specifications, schedules and other documents through the enquiry form on our site.
When you send us content, you confirm that:
- you own it, or you have the right and any necessary permission to share it with us for the purpose of obtaining a quotation;
- sharing it with us does not breach any confidentiality obligation, licence or third-party right; and
- it does not contain anything unlawful, defamatory, or infected with a virus or other harmful code.
You retain all ownership rights in what you send us. You grant us a licence to store, copy and use that content for the purposes of assessing your enquiry, preparing a quotation, and, if we are appointed, delivering the works.
We will treat commercially sensitive documents you send us as confidential and will not disclose them to third parties except to our staff, suppliers and professional advisers who need them to price or deliver the works, or where we are required to disclose them by law.
We may refuse, remove or delete any content sent to us, and we are not obliged to store it indefinitely. Please keep your own copies.
9. We are not responsible for websites we link to
Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, those links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or the information you may obtain from them. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.
10. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
Subject to that paragraph, and because our site is aimed at business users:
- we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations and other terms that may apply to our site or any content on it;
- we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising under or in connection with use of, or inability to use, our site, or use of or reliance on any content displayed on our site; and
- in particular we will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
This clause does not affect any liability we may have under a separate contract for works — see clause 15.
11. We are not responsible for viruses, and you must not introduce them
We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our site, and you should use your own virus protection software.
You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to it. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate with them by disclosing your identity to them.
12. Rules about linking to our site
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not frame our site on any other site. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
13. Which country's laws apply to any disputes
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Our contracts for works
These terms govern your use of this website only. Any works carried out by Arden Strata are governed by a separate written contract agreed between us. Where there is any conflict between these website terms and that contract, the contract for works prevails in respect of the works.
15. Contact us
